The Moth Rejects Mortal Flame

Night Moth girl Vera is publicly adopted by Queen Celeste, only to face Rosalind's schemes and Grand Elder Maudric's assassination attempts. Cold-faced guard Kael protects her as she repeatedly revives dead branches. On the pyre, her blood resurrects the withered Tree of Life, revealing she is the princess lost eighteen years ago. After reuniting with her mother, she exposes Maudric's regicide, crushes the coup at the coronation, purifies the sacred tree, and becomes queen.
